" Take part in an epic journey into a mysterious world to restore light to this lost world. In Llum you take on the role of the Traveler, a mysterious character charged with leading Llum, the last flame, to the source of eternal fire. Face the many dangers lurking around you and solve puzzles to progress through the dungeon, taking care of your little companion to avoid finding yourself without light in this more than hostile environment... "

With the other Game Artist we established the artistic direction and made the assets together. I however did the UI, some asset marketing and some of gameplay asset
We wanted to give the elements a painted look, to offer something less seen in the mobile game and give a more medieval, castle-like feel... Only the monsters are in pure solid color, to contrast with the scenery and blend into the shadows.

I did all the animations for the monsters and the flames. For the monsters, I wanted to give them an organic, slimy feel, so that you wouldn't know whether there were several monsters or just one blending into the shadows.
For the Ui, I took the temple floor from the game and animated the monsters, as we wanted a coherent and legible artistic direction.
